After working at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai as Junior Consultant, he was overseas fellow at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, for two years. He later served as Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at MM Hospital and Research Centre, Madurai, and Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi, before moving to Sunrise in 2013.
